Medical Law & Drug Safety
In an effort to expand my personal knowledge and research into just how close to the precipice of pharmaceutical safety we live, I have visited a plethora of web sites and directories. While often directed toward health industry professionals (and not the lay person) I have found some common sense links to share with you.

The biggest resource comes from the US FDA, which lists the rosters of hundreds of prescription medicines and devices recalled or under investigation for their ability (or suspected propensity) to cause harm.

I will prepare the master list this next week, and will begin posting daily after January 01, 2005. For now, if you want to see what the FDA is publishing, go to: http://www.fda.gov/medwatch/SAFETY/2004/safety04.htm#drugs
This is for 2004, but the site also contains listings for ill-advised (all puns intended) treatments "pulled from the shelves" in years past.
